TRANSDISCIPLINARY MUSICAL COLLABORATION

Eartheater has the uncanny ability to constantly reinvent itself. Whether it's albums filled with folktronica or dystopian, more digital productions and club-imbued hypnotic work, this musician covers it all. Phoenix: flames are dew upon my skin perhaps may be her most impressive album yet: accompanied by acoustic guitar, a string section and subtle electronica, this New Yorker will transport you to a fairytale no-man's land located somewhere betwixt Nirvana and Horny Hell.

She will be entering into a special musical partnership at Explore the North, working with a one-off local classical music ensemble. Created especially for this performance, the ensemble comprises talented young northern musicians: pianist Nadine Blaak, violinists Mart Koek and Cuun Koek, and with Miriam de Groot and Chantal Brunt on flute.
