Longing for nature with colourful folk

As an absolute nature lover, raised in the valleys of northern England, singer-songwriter Billie Marten moved to the overpopulated metropole of London. Of course soon, she started longing for the woods, creeks, hills and countryside. And that’s exactly the feeling reflected in her music. Yet now, the acoustic folk music, which shaped her as a child and with which she herself has come to recent prominence, has been replaced by a bigger band sound. She has traded her acoustic guitar for an electric bass guitar. This musical transition coincides with her personal growth, which is the main theme of her latest album Flora Fauna. You are therefore more than welcome to share her longing for nature during her performance.
