Surrender to the dark and let the words touch you

Descend into an underground Cold War era bunker. No light, no sound, nothing from the outside world penetrates it. Open a door and close it behind you. You can no longer trust your eyes. Get all of your senses ready, feel your neck tingle and have your fingertips at the ready. There are people walking around. You can’t see them, but they can see you. They touch you. Not with their hands, but with their words. Let darkness envelop you and let poetry feel you. Embrace it, cling to it. Where you are now, it’s all you have to hold on to.
