HYPNOTIC MIX OF JAZZ, FOLK AND ELECTRONICA

An addictive groove, explosive rage, alternated with subtle refinement. In every show, Mammal Hands seeks out the very boundaries of their songs by improvising within the repetitive rhythmic grooves. Inspired by such luminaries as Steve Reich and Pharaoh Sanders, and artists such as Bonobo, this English trio makes music in inimitable fashion. Their style, a mix of spiritual jazz, African and Indian elements and folk, took shape over the course of hours of rehearsal. Expect a hypnotic live show with new work from their recently released third album Shadow Work.
