Last year Martin Kohlstedt enchanted his Explore the North audience with an entrancing mix of piano and electronica. This year it’s the turn of Lisa Morgenstern to do the same, but this time round spiced with a dose of dark pop music!
With both her parents playing professionally in orchestras, Lisa Morgenstern encountered music from an early age. She quickly developed a strong affection for the piano, and it's not for nothing that she now headlines at festivals such as ‘Budapest Piano Day’. Her background in classical music and the Bulgarian women's choir have led to a remarkable combination of musical ingredients. Her second album entitled Chameleon will be released in late 2018. Expect modern classical pieces larded with electronica and dark pop music.
