Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek play a mixture of Turkish folk and grooves. The group of musicians, hailing from Germany, France, Italy and England, is led by the young singer and multi-instrumentalist Derya Yildirim. The deep, warm voice of Derya, the psychedelic saz melodies, the groovy organ tones and the close-knit rhythm section all add up to a hypnotic sound.
